Some crappy pics of 11/27:

Hittin a rail Andy Parry style

Not much snow...

A few bros I met up with

#steez

Yesterday was a sick day at Sugarbush. I went not really expecting much, as they had like two trails open, but it was still great to ski some real snow and hit some rails. One of the best part of Sugar is that it is so live and happening; you can always head up and find some friends to ski with. They had only four park features set up, three rails and a box, but it still was a nice setup. Obviously to early for jumps. There were many bare spots with grass showing all around the slopes, and to get up to the skiable part of the resort you had to take the lift up to the upper mountain because there was no snow at the bottom. This means that we had to take the lift back down as well. Today Sugar had to close and will probably not open until this weekend when they can make some snow. It was some fun early season skiing and I'm stoked for next week!

ill threads and ski stuff

Over the Summer, i worked for a couple weeks at my Grandparents' house in Massachusetts basically as a landscaper; I moved rocks, trimmed bushes, mowed grass, etc. At the end I got a nice fat pay check with 1K, and i could finally buy my 2012 ski wear/gear. I went down to Skirack, and I got some Hot Doggers heat molded, and bought my Chronics and slapped some STHs on em. I then bought last years Saga Lobster jacket from a friend used, as well as this year's Purple Rain pants. I think the red-purple-black color way will look pretty sick n steezy on the mountain. Also, last Saturday was the release of Jiberish drop 2, and I ordered me a Mr. Blue Riding Hood, a hoodie-flannel thats pretty unique.

PS if anyone wants a medium Burton jacket I'm selling one here on Newschoolers.

Skiing is Coming

Out on opening day with my amigo last year

Mid-November is a time of pain for us East Coast skiers. Sure, Killington has been open since October, but it's two hours each way from B-Town and tickets are fifty bucks. I would have gone, except parents aren't as much into the ski scene, and thats my ride there. Soon though the time will come. on the 19th, this Saturday, Mt. Snow, Okemo, and Stowe are opening, with many other resorts opening over Thanksgiving break, details in the article here. I'm going to try to hit up Stowe this weekend, as well as Mount Snow over Thanksgiving. It's looking promising, as most resorts have been blowing snow, and I will be praying for pow.
